BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Clear terms for a smooth stay
Please review Hotel Ellora’s booking, check-in, payment, cancellation and guest requirements before confirming your reservation.
Check-in and check-out
Standard check-in is 12:00 PM (noon) and standard check-out is 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM is subject to availability and attracts 50% of the daily room rate.
- Very early check-in before 6:00 AM requires reservation from the previous night at the full daily rate.
- Late check-out from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM is subject to availability and attracts 50% of the daily room rate.
- Late check-out after 4:00 PM attracts the full one-night room charge.
Mandatory identification
All adult guests aged 18 years and above must present an original, valid government-issued photo ID carrying a residential address at check-in.
- Indian citizens may present an Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID or Driving License. PAN Cards are not accepted as proof of address.
- Foreign nationals must present an original Passport and valid Indian Visa or e-Visa. Form C details are mandatory on arrival.
- Guests residing within local municipal limits may be subject to additional verification before check-in approval at management discretion.
Guarantee and payment
A deposit of 50% to 100% of the total booking value is required to secure a reservation. Full payment may be required for peak dates.
- Payment is accepted by UPI, credit/debit card, net banking or cash.
- GST is levied on the actual invoiced room tariff: tariffs up to ₹1,000/night attract 0%; ₹1,001–₹7,500/night attract 5%; and tariffs above ₹7,500/night attract 18% GST.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations must be requested by email or formal booking-portal communication. The applicable refund is determined by the notice period before scheduled check-in.
- More than 48 hours: 10% administrative fee; 90% refund.
- 24 to 48 hours: 50% of the total booking / first-night charge retained; 50% refund.
- Less than 24 hours or same day: 100% of the total booking value retained; no refund.
- No-show or early departure: 100% of total room revenue retained; no refund.
- Cancellation charges attract GST at the same tax slab applicable to the underlying room booking.
- Eligible refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after formal cancellation approval.
House rules and admission rights
Admission is reserved strictly with hotel management. Check-in may be denied to individuals under the influence of illegal substances or those unable to present legitimate statutory identification.
- Non-registered visitors are permitted in the lobby only until 8:00 PM. Overnight visitors must be formally registered at the front desk with valid photo ID.
- Firearms, hazardous chemicals, illegal drugs and contraband are strictly prohibited on hotel property.
